Nature and Wildlife
There are few things I find as thrilling as spotting wildlife. Whether in my backyard or while traveling, on land or in the ocean, I keep a field guide nearby and my camera or binoculars in the car.
I’ve been a hoops fan since a very early age, and its something that’s stuck with me no matter where my life or career has taken me. Its fascinating to me that no matter how many hundreds of games I’ve watched, each one unfolds in its own unique way. While I’m invested in my hometown Boston Celtics, I love following the league, the drama, the stats, you name it.
I love running around in the woods. No phone, no cars, more animals than people. I find it to be an incredibly effective way to reset, and much more inspiring than running on roads. Its such a fun hobby because it travels well. No matter where I go, I’ll check Strava or AllTrails for a local trail to run on. It’s a great way to get to know different geographies and ecosystems around the world.
I am lucky to have two adventurous little daughters who are always game to explore. Provided that there are snacks.
